The NMRP is an early academic intervention to help prepare high school students for college-level math. The program is aimed at juniors and seniors in high school who have shown a need for additional math support. Students progress through an individualized and self-accelerated program to build upon mastery and success. With successful completion of the course, students may enroll in any Nebraska community college and not be required to take a math placement exam nor be enrolled in any developmental math course. By reducing the need for developmental coursework, students reduce the cost and time to start on credit-bearing coursework that is relevant to their program.
