Big Idea Talks Competition

Innovation in NCE Big Idea Talks

Wednesday, June 7, 3:15-5:00pm

Innovation in NCE Big Idea Talks is an open opportunity for any Nebraska Career Education teacher/instructor, school counselor, or administrator to share key information about their great work in a short, focused, engaging format...for cash prizes!

Presentations can be made in one of three different categories:

  • Outstanding Classroom/School Counseling Best Practice
  • Innovative CTSO Activity
  • Community Outreach

Five (5) cash prizes in each of these categories will be awarded:

  • 1st Place - $250
  • 2nd Place - $200
  • 3rd Place - $150
  • 4th Place - $100
  • 5th Place - $50

Winners' entries and support materials may be shared after the conference through the Nebraska Career Education website and/or other media.

Entry Instructions
Complete and submit the Innovation in NCE Big Idea Talks entry information at any of the following links by 5:00 p.m. (CST), April 17, 2017:

A title for the Talk and a brief 3-5 sentence description of the best practices, activity or project to be presented is part of the entry information. Entrants will receive e-mail communication by Friday, May 12, 2017 confirming if they have been selected to present at the NCE Conference on Wednesday afternoon, June 7th in Kearney, Nebraska.
